This equipment must operate together with the cellulose pulverizer, cyclone separator (26L rotary valve), pulse dust collector (16L rotary valve), two conveying fans, and the storage silo to form a complete pulp board crushing and dust removal circuit.
This pulp board pre-crushing machine is a core piece of pre-processing equipment developed specifically for the cellulose ether industry. It can handle both wood pulp board and cotton pulp board in block or roll form, crushing them into uniformly sized small particles that serve as high-quality feed material for the downstream cellulose pulverizer.
By pre-crushing pulp board before it enters the pulverizer, the machine significantly reduces the operating load of the main pulverizer motor, increases total line throughput, and lowers energy consumption per tonne of CMC or PAC produced. Do not feed non-pulp materials (metal, stone, plastic, etc.) into the machine — this will damage the hammer blades and may cause a safety incident.
- High-power explosion-proof main motor (55 kW): The main drive motor carries a dust explosion-proof rating of ExtDⅢBT130°C, making it suitable for the cellulose dust environments inherent to pulp board crushing operations. The 55 kW rating gives the machine the torque margin to handle dense pulp boards without stalling.
- Controlled feed rate via dedicated feed roller motor (0.75 kW): A separate explosion-proof feed roller motor provides independent, metered feeding into the crushing chamber, preventing overload conditions and ensuring consistent particle size distribution in the crushed output.
- Validated through 100+ multidimensional tests: Development involved more than one hundred tests covering adaptability to different pulp board types (wood pulp, cotton pulp, block, roll), long-term continuous operation stability, and behaviour under extreme operating conditions — achieving optimal balance of operational safety, running stability, and component service life.
- Dual feedstock capability: Unlike single-material crushers, this machine handles both wood pulp board and cotton pulp board without mechanical modification, offering greater flexibility for plants that source cellulose from multiple suppliers or alternate between feedstock types.

Both startup and shutdown sequences must be strictly observed. Starting or stopping equipment out of order risks blockages, dust accumulation, motor overload, and dust explosion incidents.
- Check all connections are secure, lubrication grease is sufficient, and dust collection pipelines are unobstructed.
- Start the pulse dust removal system. Wait until air pressure stabilises at >= 0.4 MPa.
- Start Fan (conveying fan).
- Start the Main Machine (pulp board pre-crusher).
- Start the feeding conveyor to begin material feeding. Initial feed rate: 50% of designed capacity.
- Stop the feeding conveyor first.
- Wait until all material inside the machine has been fully discharged.
- Stop the Main Machine.
- Stop the Fan.
- Stop the pulse dust collection system.
