Client was a CMC/PAC manufacturer with over 20 years of operation running an aging production line with low alcohol recovery efficiency — roughly 15–20% residual alcohol remained in the product after the vacuum belt filter stage. ZHAOYUAN's feasibility analysis identified the post-filtration stage as the bottleneck, and the revamp added a steam stripper to recover further alcohol from the wet material, substantially improving overall recovery efficiency without requiring full plant reconstruction.
